Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned performer, a rocker or a show tunes crooner, Shelly Gillett-Behrens can help you sing your best! With lessons you will strengthen your voice, musical ability and unique vocal sound to sing with confidence in a group, on a stage or in a recording studio. Shelly Gillett-Behrens is trained in all three levels of Somatic VoiceworkTM - The LoVetri Method and in functional voice production from Shenandoah University, She works with her students to achieve their goals in any genre, whether it's pop, country, broadway, rock-n-roll, jazz or classical. She believes in building a strong foundation of healthy vocal technique that will nurture and serve singers throughout their lifetime. Beginners may start in a singing class where they learn basic musical and vocal skills. Additional classes are offered for high schoolers serious about pursuing a musical career. Individual private lessons for mature students ages 10-100 focus on advanced vocal training and performance/studio work.

Community Collaboration
Working together with individuals, families, schools and businesses in our community is central to GB Voice Studio's mission. Our studio is in the classroom, auditorium, and city park. We've sung in a local restaurant, coached local school choirs, sponsored high school musicals, provided after-school theater classes, conducted master classes and participated in local chamber of commerce talent events. We are eager to work with organizations and individuals who wish to promote a positive musical experience to all members of our community.
PERFORMANCES
Our students perform at Flint Firebirds games, in open mic nights, at karaoke contests, in local musicals and talent shows. The Studio's Recitals have been held at the Lake Fenton High School Auditorium, First Baptist Church of Fenton, Transfiguration Lutheran Church, The Rock Church, and Hope Lutheran Church. In June 2014 the Studio provided entertainment at Linden Mills Days with great success. Shelly has sung in a local R&B band and jazz ensemble, been a soprano soloist in Handel's "The Messiah," for Kearsley Park Players "Twelfth Night," and for the role of Nella in Puccini's comic opera "Gianni Schicchi".
